About the Degree

Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts (SSCA) was founded in 2016. It is a constituent of Symbiosis International University. It is the first school fully dedicated in offering niche qualifications in culinary science and arts in the country. SSCA was established with a view to cater to the need of the Food Industry to train and develop specialized culinary professionals.

Our flagship Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts has been one of the most sought after culinary degree in the country. In order to cater to growing demand of well-trained hospitality professionals, SSCA has started a specialized Hospitality Management bachelor’s degree from 2020.

Keeping in view the increasing demand for specialized programs both in Culinary and Hospitality field, SSCA offers two unique three- year, full-time bachelor’s degree programmes- BSc (Culinary Arts) and BSc (Hospitality and Culinary Management). Both our programmes are designed to prepare students for a wide range of career options in Culinary and Hospitality fields.

Eligibility: Passed XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribes).

Admission Process: The Entrance Test would be conducted separately for B.Sc (CA) and B.Sc (HCM) programmes.

​

The online entrance test, Written Ability Test (WAT) the Personal Interview will be conducted on the same day. The test will be offered through google form and it will be a time bound test for 60 minutes.

Preparation for the Admission Process

Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts (SSCA) is a prestigious institute and they will select candidates who have a strong aptitude in oral and written communication skills.

 

In order to do well the student will have to strengthen his concepts in the areas of Mathematics, English, Reasoning and Current Affairs.

 

It goes without saying that the student should prepare himself for both the written test and the Personal interview.
