In alignment with the New Education Policy (NEP), the BA in Media and Communication program at Manipal Institute of Communication offers students the opportunity to pursue an additional fourth year to earn a BA (Honours) in Media and Communication. To be eligible for this extended option, students must maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or higher throughout their first three years.

Eligibility:

  • A candidate for admission to the course shall have completed 10+2 school level or Pre-University examination from any recognised institute/board, having secured not less than 45% of marks in the aggregate of the total marks prescribed.

  • If from A levels, minimum 2 / 3 subjects in the ‘A’ Levels and 5 Passes in the IGCSE / GCSE including English. The minimum requirement is an average of a ‘D’ grade. 

  • If from IB, B Diploma or IB Certificate with three subjects at HL and three subjects at SL with an overall minimum of 24 points.

 

Admission Process: Step by Step guide:

  • Apply Online – Apply online on the official website and pay the application fees

  •  Personal Interview (PI) – After successful submission of application the candidate will receive a mail to choose a date for the Personal Interview.

Note :  Manipal Institute of Communication admission is based on CUET(UG) / MECAT test and a personal interview.

  •  The candidate will receive a provisional admission order based on the interview performance and CUET(UG) / MECAT  test scores.

Overview

The Bachelor of Arts (Hon) Journalism and Mass Communication program at DLHS offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers a variety of course types to ensure a well-rounded education.
